Any idea of numbers as turn out for WTC spins are poor.w s cc get about 20 for their Tuesday spin, the biscuit club get 20 to 30 for their Wednesday spin while WTC get on average 5-8 on Sunday spin.Any idea on what members want in terms of time, location, routes, skill levels, distance ect.Last Sunday spin 6 out split into 2 groups of 3,passed two clubs on cork road about 30 in each and also the last 3 surviving members of the carrick tri club ,they even get as many out as us.

I know of a definate 4/5(thats not very definate come to think of it) who will be there tonight because they have either spoken to me or replied on forum or facebook, after that we will have to wait and see. Agree that the whole thing needs to be organised, just needs somone to do it. this time of year with races on every weekend numbers will probably be down on the Winter spins.

Big tks Tom for getting Wednesday evening time trial going. The time trial is open to all no matter what level you are at with staggered starts and would certainly bring you on.We had 5 out this evening and with 135 member names on our list sheet surely we can better this for next weeks TT.

Well 5 turned up for the Time Trial last night. We did the Orchardstown circuit which PIo tells me is 21.5k. Great night for it , not much wind and the sun shininh. First home was Pio in a time of 35 minutes, then Tom casey in 35.45, Paul Mc manus in 38.36, David Mc Connell in 40.27 and David Devine who DNF due to a knee proble. Hope thats not too serious. All who turned up say that Wednesday suits best so next week same place at around 6.50pm. In a couple of weeks if people want we could organise 2 laps to make it 43k for does who need longer ones and we could start those at 6.30 maybe. All suggestions welcome. Its a good varied and challanging route but if its your first attempt it can only help to improve you and if it takes an hour or more to complete, what harm ,its all a bit of crack anyway.
